"Within a few months of placement, a child in Terri's home was hospitalized for a few weeks. Terri was in the hospital with the child daily, and she made arrangements for her other girls to be with people who helped to support the family. During that time, the family demonstrated the strong bond they had already developed, as the girls often called by phone and video to check on the child in the hospital and make sure she was doing okay. Terri and her family are great examples of what it means to treat children in foster care like their own."
