This virtual training session will provide a brief overview of trauma and how it affects the brain, as well as behaviors. Followed by parenting strategies to use with children that have experienced trauma.

The presentation will be provided in an interactive and engaging manner and participants will have an opportunity to seek consultation about specific behaviors they are struggling with.

This training is being presented by Stacey Goodson and hosted by Child Safe Michigan. Stacey comes with experience as a child welfare professional as well as a foster and adoptive parent of teenagers.
