The 7 Core Struggles in Adoption, presented by Dr. Chaitra Wirta-Leiker, teaches how to support adoptees by guiding them to utilize the potential benefits during these struggles (which include loss/abandonment, rejection, guilt/shame, grief, identity, intimacy, and control) and developing parenting strategies that help them thrive.
