Using prepared content, videos, and discussion, this training provides
information on LGBTQ+ terminology, identity development, and
misconceptions. The impact of family accepting and rejecting behaviors
when a child “comes out” will be explored and guidance will be provided
on ways to promote the well-being of an LGBTQ+ child whether or not you
agree with or support their LGBTQ+ identity.
