Meet The Staff

Katie lives in the Thumb of Michigan with her husband of 20 yrs, Ben, and their 4 kids, ranging in age from 12-18 years old. Their journey into foster care began in 2020 when they were officially licensed. Although for Katie, the desire to foster was always there from a young age due to both her parents working in child welfare, her father a Juvenile Probation Officer and her mother an Elementary Counselor.

Katie has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising, which she found a great fit for merging her two passions when she became a Foster Care Recruiter and eventually a Foster Care Navigator. 

In her free time, Katie enjoys attending ALL her kids’ sporting events, spending time at home on their organic cash crop farm, coaching volleyball, gardening, canning, riding side-by-sides, and snowmobiling at their cabin.
